Google’s Privacy Policy Update: Your data will be used to train its AI

Google recently updated its privacy policy and as per Google’s privacy policy update that the company will use everything you post online and your publicly available data will be used to train its AI tools. This policy change is concerning.

The change in the privacy policy was made public on July 1, 2023. In the privacy policy, the change that can be noticed in that document is that Google can now use the publically available online data for business purposes. It will help to train its AI models and build products and features like Google Translate, Bard, and Cloud AI capabilities.

In the AI chatbot race, Google has also launched its own AI chatbot named Bard. They are also working on other ways to cover AI capabilities and AI-powered features. And the development of these AI models will utilize the online available data.

The point to be noticed here is that it will only use the publicly available data but not the private data that is linked to your accounts. Your sensitive information of yours is still saved as that is counted as your private data.

The rise of these AI tools and their accessibility to every single person is bringing a revolution in the digital world. And these AI tools or products work on the basis of the information provided by us. The thing to be remembered here is that with every ease comes a difficulty.
